I was asked by an SF'er for recommendations of a seafood-centric restaurant in the downtown west end (ie south of College) 'hood. Mains preferably under $15, (ie dinner for two under $30 for food + booze). I was told he wanted a not so noisy place on a weekend, and a place where reservations are taken.
I don't think one can do >$30 at Oyster Boys, nor Fish Bar.
My first thoughts were Raw on Dundas or Grand Electric, but I guess they don't take reservation? No particular cuisine in mind. Just a place where they could sit and talk, and hear each other.
The only other place that comes to mind is Atlantic on Dundas, but I would like to provide more choices. Any suggestion?
