Indianapolis report

A combination of too much snow and bad timing prevented me from trying Bijou in Lebanon and Elements (closed during the holidays, as was R Bistro) so we ended up at Zydeco's in Mooresville. The tasso was hot (as advertised) and the garlic soup very tasty, as was the red beans and rice. The etouffee was good, with a generous serving of crawfish. Also liked the Jambalaya brun and the catfish...the bread pudding finished us off. A very friendly place, live music (not a quiet spot) and a good time. An easy drive from the south side of Indy.
Also had an excellent breaded tenderloin and ice cream at Compton's in Shelbyville-a good, honest place.
Thanks again for the suggestions-maybe next time.
