India Paradise

Stopped into this place in Newton Center for lunch. It's on Union Street. I had the lamb vindalo (medium spiced). It came with the soup of the day (carrot) and rice. I also ordered some garlic naan. The soup was excellent, the vindaloo was pretty good but I'm no Indian expert so I cannot vouch for it's authenticity. About decent sized chunks of lamb, a few potatoes, and a fairly spicy sauce. The naan was a bit on the salty side. The service was efficient, except it took them a while to bring my Kingfisher beer (about 5 minutes before I was done).

Upon arrival, they served a comlimentary order of that really thin, cracker like "bread" - like I said, Indian isn't my strong point. It was accompanied by a nice spicy onion chutney.

Anyone else tried this place?
