Hi, we're planning a trip to the Domincan Republic and plan to stay at an all inclusive resort in Punta Cana. Never done an all inclusive before and the thing that makes me most nervous is the food. My wife and I are foodies and have always felt that the dining on cruises and guided tours are awful and had much better experiences when we venture off for ourselves. Are there any all inclusives that someone can recommend for those with more discriminating taste? And to clarify we're not looking for fine dining (we have two young kids and don't mind casual). We just want real food, not starchy buffet food - and if it's local cuisine, it should be true to the local recipes, not "Americanized" and blanded down. Thanks in advance.
