I've been offered a job in the Las Vegas suburbs. I have a short time in which to make up my mind. So far, I've only been to Nevada for one two-day interview trip, in which the only sightseeing I got to do was one drive along the strip and food was at places near the Henderson office.
I'll get one more chance to come out and evaluate. It's a good job, but cash will be tight, especially given what it apparently costs for housing in LV today.
So, if you were trying to convince someone to move to LV on a "cheap eats" budget, what places would you recommend that might tip the balance? What should I check out while I'm there in terms of restaurants and food stores? After 20 years in Chicago, I'm spoiled and I want to be sure I can eat as well there as I can here.
Thanks for any advice.
