Can anyone explain (in everyday English) what is the difference between the IH system and all the other rice cooker there is out on the market?
I picked up a new baking book in Asia that uses the IH system rice system to bake breads and cakes. I was thinking it should easily apply to my electronic rice cooker, but I want to be sure.
I have baked in my rice cooker before, and I got bread, crunchy on the outside, soft and chewy inside Asian style European bread. It was delicious, but the cooking method was a bit different than the original recipe. I figured it was the difference in rice cooker.
So now I want to know what is the difference between the 2? And is it worth $200+ to invest in one?
