I'm getting together with 2 friends on Saturday evening and we have this problem where we ALWAYS end up at the same places. One of my friends is sometimes willing to try new things, but nothing too crazy, while the other pretty much sticks to some form of spaghetti with marinara sauce and salad (some seafood and chicken also applies, but nothing too fancy).
So, here's the question: Where can we go where I can find new, creative food, and the others can stick to something a little more traditional. I've searched menu pages like there's no tomorrow, but just can't seem to find a good, happy medium.
Location: preferably NOT the upper east side or midtown east, although if it's amazing, it's a possibility.
price: inexpensive to moderate. we're all in non-profit.
Thanks in advance!
