Just wanted to let you know of a Vietnamese restaurant in South Plainfield that I finally got ot try on Monday.
Siagon Restuarant is in a strip mall near a rather industrial area. My Dad found out about it from some Asian co-workers.
Very nice service, and quick!
Had Some very tasty egg rolls (small, fried, but not too greasy) and spring rolls that were packed with shrimp.
Main dish of sliced BBQ prok, shrimp and a chopped egg roll over vermicelli/sprouts/cukes.
Also had a jackfruit shake-one of many options (including green bean, avocado,durian-no Boba tea though) in the drink selection that were traditional.
Very good prices and very tasty. I am just so excited to find a Vietnamese restaurant in the area that I can overlook any lack of nuanced cooking....YAY!
