Hispaniola--Upper Manhattan

Went to a wine dinner at Hispaniola (West 181st St at Cabrini Blvd) last night, and food was very, very good. I know there have been a couple of posts about this new restaurant, but I think they were only about appetizers and drinks. We had a multi-course dinner (sponsored by a local wine store, PJ Wine):

Tuna Tartare with Mango Puree, Olive Oil and Potato Crisps (SPICY AND VERY GOOD)
Grilled Shrimp and Squid Mesclun Salad with Mango and a Balsamic Vinegar Reduction Blue-Cheese Dressing (DELICIOUS DRESSING AND FRESH, GOOD SEAFOOD)
White Bean Soup with Butternut Squash and Diced Idaho Potatoes (LOVED IT)
Argentinean Skirt Steak with Black Bean Risotto and Chimichurri Sauce (GOOD BUT NOT AS SPECIAL AS THE REST OF THE MENU)
Warm Chocolate Cake with Caramel Sauce and Cinnamon Ice Cream (YUM)

We definitely plan to go back there on our own and try their regular menu. Can't speak about prices, because this was a special event with a fixed price ($65 including wine--well worth it!), but food was for the most part terrific and service was great.
