Due to a change in our schedule, we have had to cut out a planned stop in Osaka/Kobe and will be flying direct to Kyushu from Tokyo. Our main foodie loss is that we won't have a chance to visit any Osaka/Kobe area high-grade beef restaurants, as initially planned. Are there any decent options we can explore in Fukuoka or Nagasaki?
Also, our second beef-related question is do Japanese supermarkets offer the possibility to vacuum-pack beef? We would love to pick up a small slab of something to bring home.
