I just returned from a trip to Vermont. On the way home we veered off Route 7 for a pit stop at Hickory Bill's Texas Bar B Que. I believe others have sung his praises previously on this site, but I just wanted to confirm the utter deliciousness of this place. He is now located in North Adams, MA just a stones throw from MASS MOCA. I had a chopped brisket on a roll, with two types of sauce offered on the side. Some baked beans and corn bread came with it. He was out of peach and apple cobbler that another customer there said is quite good. He has a web site that lists the menu, and an address. If you are in the area it is well worth a visit. Try to avoid going on a really hot day like we did, there was no AC and it was sweltering inside. We're glad we stayed though.
