After a trip out of town (long or just an overnighter) we often celebrate the return home with a dinner from Henry's...a tradition of nearly two decades.
However, our recent take-out dinner from Henry's Hunan was sadly disappointing. The dumplings tasted off, with some of the dumplings missing half of the stuffing. The chicken salad was drenched with too much peanut sauce/dressing; the chicken in hot & sour chicken tasted too gamey, the fishballs were tasteless; and the bean curd with meat sauce (aka, mapo tofu) was much too oily.
As long time devotees of Henry's, we hope this was an isolated incident. But I wonder if the recent passing of the matriarch, Diana Chung, means thre is no one keeping an eye on the kitchen...
Anyone with similar experience recently?
