Went to Heidi's last night. I had not been there in about 6 or 7 months. I actually think he has gotten even better as a chef since I last ate there. The food was outstanding. We started with a Salmon spring roll that just exploded with flavor in my mouth. I had a very unique hen egg salad and the Lamb Shank. Both were near perfection. My wife had a ravioli and a Sirloin special that were equally as good. (Carrot stuffed ravioli with fennel sous vide in sweet basil cream, Soft poached hen egg with fresh pea salad, toasted crouton and truffle vinaigrette, Anise scented lamb shank, braised tender to the bone, served on a wild rice salad). The two desserts we shared were also excellent (Pure chocolate- chocolate sorbet with a sliver of chocolate cake and chocolate sauce and some banana foster type deal that was incredible). One of the best meals I have had in a long time. The service was impecable. Please support this place. It is a real gem in this town and the pricing is not terrible.
