Fabulous! Just wanted to thank all who recomended it and suggest it to anyone looking for a great meal. I had the sardine appetizer, my companion had the octopus- both were magnificent. Mains were osso bucco style monkfish, which was really interesting. The risotto side was quite good as well.I had the roasted sirloin which was simple and cooked perfectly.
The standout of the night was the gnocchi. Done simply with butter, salt and pepper I was blown away. I have spent years working on my gnocchi and have an annual competition with my dad - NOTHING compares to these. I can't wait to go back for them.
We finished the meal with the chocolate tart, which was good, but the peanut brittle ice cream was the standout. I had the apple cider donuts - and they really lived up to the hype.
Overall a great meal and interesting wine list. Service needs polishing, but I would really like to go back.
