Harbor Deli in Dana Point

I moved recently to this area from Newport. Tonight we took food out from Harbor Deli, which is a Jewish deli here in Dana Point Harbor. We thought the food was pretty good considering this is not a mecca for Jewish deli's. We took home Matzo Ball soup and it was very good. The Matzos were very fluffy and had good flavor. Also had Pastrami which we liked, which although not Langers where I have never been and sometime if in LA want to try. Obviously I cannot compare but we thought it was good. Being in south Orange County we take what is available. The chopped liver was also good. However, I don't think it was all chicken livers but again when it is not readily available it tasted great to us. The potato salad was also good. The rye bread had a wonderful crispy crust and somewhat soft center. I am surprised that I couldn't find anything on a search about this place. Granted I am not an expert on Jewish Deli's but am very happy there is a good one in my "backyard". By the way when I picked up the food the place was packed. It is not very big, probably 15 -20 booths and tables. It is located in the Harbor on the left side at the very end. I am trying to familiarize myself with the area and the good food places and this was a good find. I also like Harbor Grill for fresh fish and Gemmells's in the harbor area. We have stayed away from the somewhat chains because we have been before and were not impressed. Harpoon Harry's is ok though. We are working our way down to San Clemente and San Juan Capistrano. Been to Ramos House about 3 times in the last month. I love it and it is where I take visitors because of the history and good food. Everyone loves it and also the ambiance with the trains going by and sitting in the lovely patio is an experience. The owners are also so friendly and I love "General Sherman" the wonderful huge cat that is always there. However I have found that I like it during the week best. Weekend brunch is great but we have to wait too long and too much food! I would love some feedback on Harbor Deli and others in the area. TIA
