As an artist, I was immediately struck by the surroundings: A sort of time warp of art history with a rock & roll edge. Could it be Hard Rock Cafe's long lost evil twin? No. It's too avant-garde for that.
Upon reaching the counter, which in typical restaurants they house an array of liqueurs, instead, I was intoxicated by such a brilliant portrayal of neo-Dada readymade coceptualism: the vintage lunchbox wall!
They had every lunchbox from the 60s to the 80s. The poetry of TV culture's avatar is here to stay. A perfect atmosphere for a TV dinner, but better yet, I had a whole menu of fresh, mouth watering dishes, not to mention 60 different omeletts to choose from, pancakes, waffels, you name it.. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner, 24 hours a day .
The atmosphere is conducive to learning about the arts , and I hear they're looking for local artists to exibit their work there. So if you're looking for your "Big Break" this place may be it! I'll have to tell my students about this place. Not only is the food excellent, the prices are unbeatable!
