Group of 10...help!

OK - this is for a business colleague who I like a ton - they'll be in town for the crew races in 2 weeks. They need a "moderately priced" (american, or italian...prob not asian) place for a group of 10. And, no BYO. They'll presumably be near the river on Friday afternoon so will take a cab from there to...wherever. Problem being that they are staying on City Line (Hilton).

Sooo....if we pretend that they don't mind cabs - and paying for them - I was going to offer Rembrandts, Sansom Street Oyster House, and Vesuvio. I haven't been to Vesuvio but hear from you guys that it is good for groups. Yes?

Is there anything else worth recommending, where you'd tell a good friend to go, with these specifications? I have never been to Verge - that might fit the bill better location wise, but is it good for a group? The group prob avgs out at around 45 - 55 yrs old , so nothing too tricksy or hipstery (new word).

THANKS FOR YOUR HELP, HOUNDS
