Alton Brown recommended this spice to preserve the integrity of the apples in his Apple Pie on a recent episode of 'Good Eats'. Since then, I've been trying to find this item, but with no luck so far... does anyone know where I could find it? (i realise my chances are slim in Waterloo, so how about places in Toronto?)
Also, for you fine folks out there who have tasted this spice, could you describe what it is like?
