We were in NOLA the week that the BP oil well caught on fire and fell into the Gulf. We had a bunch of meals there, several of which included grits from McEwen and Sons.
So, what are the best ways to cook and use grits? I have been a BIG polenta fan but my wife is not. However, these grits were just what she likes. And they were and are great (I have a small boatload in the kitchen).
