I finally made it out to DiFara yesterday with a friend. I thought the pizza was great and loved watching Dominick make our sausage-mushroom pies. My friend said it was the best New York pizza he ever had, although I still give my vote to Grimaldi's.
My question though is... How would you describe the difference in the styles and preparations of the pies?
I was trying to enunciate why I liked Grimaldi's better but wasn't sure I had the pizza vocabulary to back it up.
