went tonite. cute little space.
the music was a little too loud for our taste (when we arrived we were the only people there).
to start we had the curry puffs (which were decent. nothing amazing, but not bad) and the chicken satay, which was a really generous serving - 4 or 5 large skewers. peanut sauce could have been spicier, but it was still tasty.
i had the spicy sauteed eggplant. the eggplant itself was delicious, but i was definitely wanting a little more heat (it was called spicy eggplan) and a lot less oil. next time i'll just ask for both.
dh had chicken tamarind curry, which was basically a massuman curry (potatoes, peanuts). a little more liquidy than i've had in the past, but the flavoring was perfect.
both entrees were a little on the small side (even tried to convince dh to go to flushing right after for octopus man), but definitely worth their prices (6 and 7 bucks).
in all, i would definitely go back for more. the space is cute. service nice and friendly. food good, with room for improvement, but not in a bad way. by the time we left there were about 6 other parties dining. i'll probably end up back there next week.
anyone else been?
