I had the best experience when I was in NOLA many years at Casamento's, the visions of all the fancy went out of my head and the memory of Casamento's never left.
I plan to go back this visit coming up Thanksgiving weekend and checking on the great website to make sure it is open, and thriving (don't want to be disappointed). Anyhow, I found a posting from a person called Green Horse replying to a Casamento's question about when do they open and his reply had me off my seat. I have been so caught up in where to eat, music, etc.... that I forgot what I really loved about NOLA was the people and their spirit. People in california have become so boring and mean spirited, blah, blah. I have enjoyed reading the postings on this site, I would love to contribute some money when I visit, where do I do this. This was the reply that had me in tears.. thanks

Don't even think about that 'till October, maybe even Turkey Day. Dems bays and sloughs be boilin right now an notin comes from dem what's good. Wait till the first cold fronts cool everything off. Then Casamento's will reopen and the world will spin like it should.
