HELP!!!! Does anyone know where I can get great TEX-MEX? [Long Island]

HUNGRYMAN8 | Jun 16, 2014 07:56 AM

I am searching for a great REAL Tex-Mex restaurant on Long Island. Does anyone know of any?
Let me be very clear.... Taco Bell is finished. They used to be great back in the 1980's. They are no more. Nothing is fresh or natural any longer. Now I have tried Meson Ole' and it is bland. Chipolte is nothing special. Seems it tastes identical to every other item on their menu. Cookie cutter burritos with black beans and rice don't cut it for me. And the Spanish slant to the food makes it worse. I don't like Spanish food. Chilis is BS too. Every Tex Mex place I tried tastes bland or crappy. What do I want?

I want a REAL Tex-Mex place that uses WHOLE MILK CHEESES, REGULAR Sour Cream, Lard, Coconut oil, etc. I don't want gluten free, sugar free, salt free, this free or that free artificial garbage. I am human, and I eat natural. I am not a palsy and eat everything and anything God made. So if anyone knows of a genuine Tex-Mex establishment that is Food Police Free? Let me know and I will spend the big $ !!! Because my taste buds are more important than the nonsense of worrying about natural ingredients. I am a super taster.

I am looking for a place that makes burritos, enchiladas, nachos, tacos, and the like using mountains of cheese, sour cream, full fat guacamole and the rest of the heavenly ingredients like green onions, black olives, etc. and NO DIET ANYTHING on the menu please !!!! Just eat less if YOU - yes YOU are on a diet. Sheesh!
