Places I've already tried and you don't need to mention: Aunt Kizzy's, Flossie's, Bertha's, Chef Marilyn's (although on a tangential note which do you like the best???).

Also, don't include buffalo wings and no on Popeye's and el Polla Compero (?, I mean the Guatemelan fried chicken chain)...

Also, any price range... If it's even at a fancy restaurant that will still do, but I thought that the shake n bake or is it panko-fried chicken at Huckleberry in Santa Monica was beyond terrible (even though many have sung the praises of that joint, though I do have to admit that their yellow cake with chocolate buttercream frosting is especially amazing) and it's price to quantity and quality ratio is the best deal there, at 5 dollars a slice, i believe all the tea cakes there are at least 4 bucks a slice and pretty crappy).

thanks all.

and if anyone has any info, that maurice snack n chat has resurfaced, please let me know.
