We made it down to DC a little while ago and found two great places...
Ugh, I forget the name of one of them. It is in Union Station, does Southern Cuisine.
the fried catfish fingers were to die for...
meal was excellent, service was great...and it is in this beautiful old hall from Union Station that dates back about 100 years...
other one was Charlie Palmer Steakhouse
great food, very elegant, wonderful service and atmosphere.
for dessert we had a tasting sample of ice creams and sorbets...just wonderful..
and for the meal offered, I was very surprised at how reasonable it was. We spent about $150 on a meal that I thought they could have easily charged $300 for.
