Been going to a small byob in Richboro named Julianna Rose Cafe. Been open about a year, recently redecorated. The chef's a young guy from the CIA.
Has been doing mostly breakfast and lunch until the redo.
Wednesday-Sat dinners. Weds nite is a 4-course meal with a fixed appetizer, salad, entree (choice of 2 or 3) and choice of dessert. Last night I had braised rabbit (by request) and my wife had lovely tuna. The crabcake app was excellent (of course, not all crabmeat) and the salad was fresh and nicely dressed. The brioche french toast dessert was excellent. The rabbit was also wonderful.
Other nights have a larger menu with more choices.
I have had many great meals here and would like to see this kid succeed. I love having a place near home that's both casual and serves creative, fresh food.
