I must say something here...you are all missing my point.
Perhaps I'm not clued in to sichuan cuisine as some of you are. I would never argue this point. But what you all fail to realize is that I ordered food from a restaurant that was sub-par. No matter what I ordered, whether it be sichuan dishes or not...I expected a far better dining experience.
Though the last time I checked, the beef filet in brown sauce was considered a sichuan dish (at least it is at Grand Sichuan). That dish, of all of the food we ordered, was by far the worst dish. Bad to look at, bad to the taste.
What difference does it matter what I ordered?
I felt that for all the hubub that this place gets on this message board, it failed to meet my expectations.
You all make me laugh though...getting so defensive about a chain restaurant and one man's opinion.
As for Tina's...they bill their food as "Chinese Cuisine".
