Last week was my first meal at Gramercy Tavern. I'm still working on a report, but the short form (which should not be a surprise to most) was that I really enjoyed it. Everything was wonderful and I know I'll be back again.
What's been bugging me is that I consider myself a decent tipper 20% at minimum, if not more at most places. The service last night was excellent, so that's not the issue. There were 3 of us, bill came to approx.
$370 including tax of which $100 - $110 was the Bar/Wine bill. I left a $65 tip, so guys, what do you think, for a high end place like this was I being cheap?
