This is kind of a weird question, but does anyone have anything good to say about any of the cafeterias in any of the government (county, state or federal) buildings in the Bay Area?
You see, I work for the government, in a building w/ a cafeteria whose food, well, it won't actually kill you, probably, but that's about the best that can be said about it. Fortunately, the manager's retiring, and like a good hound I volunteered for the Cafeteria Committee. The problem is, by state law all gov't cafeterias in California have to be run a graduate of a special state program, which means a very limited set of possible vendors, so our options are not extensive.
So, I'd like to be able to point to some other cafeterias in the area and say "Like that -- that's what we want." Even if there's one thing about the place that's good -- the salad bar, the hot dishes, the setup, anything, it would be helpful.
And please, no gripes. I'm on the Cafeteria Committee, remember, and I already have files full of them.
