I'm looking for a nice restaurant to go for a birthday dinner with my parents. I am a strict vegetarian (no meat/fish), and they are more lax vegetarians (they eat fish regularly, and occasionally poultry). The problem I'm having is most vegetarian restaurants in Brooklyn seem to be pretty casual (V Spot, etc.) and most of the nicer places I've been wanting to try tend to be fairly meat heavy (Vinegar Hill House, Flatbush Farm, Rosewater, Convivium Osteria). Does anyone have any recommendations? It doesn't have to be 100% vegetarian, but I would like to find a nice place with at least a couple of vegetarian entree options. I live in Park Slope so that would be ideal, but I am also willing to go to Cobble Hill/Boerum Hill, DUMBO, Carroll Gardens, etc.
