The title pretty much says it all. I can't get any kosher meat where I am, and need a fish recipe for Friday night (it would also be great to find one for Saturday night!).
I think I lost my copy of Faye Levy's 1000 Jewish Recipes, which would normally be my go-to book for this.
For Friday night, I'm planning on doing a tzimmes, the round challot and a fish dish, and apples and honey, and dessert. (It's just two people.)
As a bonus: I would LOVE to roast a fish head, which I have read about and seen but never done. Can someone please tell me what would be involved in that?
