Good Ol' Greasy Green-line Take-out

The Hungry Traveler | Feb 27, 2004 11:38 AM

Tonight is just one of those rare nights: we don't want to cook, we don't want to sit in a restaurant. All we want is to kick off our shoes, laze around in our underwear on the couch in front of the tv, and eat directly out of the container.

We'll pick up anywhere along the C or the D lines between Arlington and Coolidge Corner or Longwood (You might even convince us to walk to Brookline Village).

Rami's is closed on Friday night. Don't like Upper Crust, Dok Bua is too far up Harvard Ave. Considering Taberna de Haro, but not sure how well their food travels. Really good Italian-American red-sauce (Baked Ziti, Eggplant Parm) would be great, but have yet to find a joint that does this well. Can you help us?
