good Dominican and Puerto Rican restaurants

I posted a long query on 20 April, looking for savory Puerto Rican and Dominican "home-cooked" dishes in comfortable sit-down restaurants in Lower Masnhattan (including Chelsea) and/or nearby Brooklyn (including Park Slope or Williamsburg) and memorable slow-cooked and caramelized "Maduros." I did find my original posting and three suggestions, but after I clicked on one suggestion (it was for "Castillo de Jagua," which I had already said I knew of, both on Rivington and on Grand Streets), I couldn't find the posting again. It seems to have disappeared, and I never did get to see the other two suggestions. I also know of Havana Chelsea (yes, it's Cuban, but the food is similar, and delicious; but as much as I love it, sometimes I want (or need) a place that's a bit more "gracious." Please help. Repost your suggestions, or tell me where the original one(s) are. Thanks.
