I thought I posted something about this over the weekend - but for some reason I'm not seeing it. So here it is again (in short form).
Over the weekend my friends and I went to Manhattan steakhouse for a special occasion.
The good news: the food was as good as it's ever been. Everyone was raving about their steaks, whether it was the Porterhouse for 2 or bone-in ribeye. The food was fantastic.
The bad news: Manhattan steakhouse will be closing it's doors in the next week or two, to be turned into a pizza joint.
This makes me very sad. Manhattan Steakhouse had recently become one of my favorite restaurants in the area. Where else can you get such delicious prime steaks and juicy thick slabs of bacon? I'm going to miss their simple but refreshing starter salad, and their ridiculously tasty potato pancake/ hash brown. All that plus BYO made this my go-to place for a nice steak dinner.
It's a sad say for steak-lovin Monmouth 'hounds. :(
