Had a couple of great meals at Boulevard Oceanfront. Small "family style" seafood and Portuguese. Great kale soup, clams and linguica, and a baked haddock. The broth from the the clams and linguica was so good that we tried to bring it home to use for poaching fish..got tird of carrying it. Only weak dish was a clams, pork and potato dish..pork was dry and I've had a better version of the dish in Provincetown..but overall we enjoyed the place a lot. Thanks to FoonFan. We wouldn't have found this place on our own.

Also found Smokin Jim's BBQ..on Main St in E Gloucester. He used to be on the side of the road between Gloucester and Rockport with hi smoker. Had ribs, chicken, pulled pork and brisket...best items were the pulled pork nd the chicken.

OK fried clams at Amelias near God Harbor..fred ish was excellent.
