I'm from the USA. A few years ago I bought a bottle of ginger ale in British aisle of an imported foods store, and it was the best ginger ale I'd ever had. I recently had occasion to go back to that store for the first time in a long while, and found that they don't carry it any longer.
I can't, for the life of me, remember what it was called.
All I know is that it was from England, came in a large clear glass bottle (about the size of a typical liquor bottle), with maybe, possibly a yellow label, and was so ridiculously strong that even my friends who LOVE strong ginger ale couldn't handle drinking it straight. It had a bite almost like some kind of liquor, but it wasn't alcoholic.
I know this is a lot to ask, but if anyone could possibly point me in the right direction, I would really, really appreciate it.
