Gertrude's BMA

Scooby Snax | Mar 7, 2002 10:57 AM

foolishly tried to walk into Petit Louis at 7:00 on a Saturday. duh. So where to go?

Gertrude's beckoned, as I have not had dinner there in months. And I had a pretty good meal, too. Provencal crabcakes were tasty and well-proportioned, and the starter 6 pack of Blue Points were fresh and delicious. The other popular entree a table was the grilled shrimp and grapefruit risotto, also tasty and satisfying. I like the atmosphere there too, and both the menu and the wine list are well thought out and affordable.
