I have read some mixed reviews of George on this message board, and thought I'd mention my meal on Saturday. I thought the atmosphere was awful. Overly lit and too open, it reminded me of a museum lunch area. However, the food was fabulous. I had the the cheese plate (which came with a pumpkin seek brittle), watercress salad, and the buffalo steak. Every bite was fantastic and inventive. The salad, for instance, came with a crostini topped with and egg and truffle mixture. Anyway, despite the ambiance, I am definitely returning.
