The General Sutter Inn - Lititz, PA

The town of Lititz is a wonderful village of quaint shops, friendly shop keepers and worthy of being defined as a destination location for a day trip in the country. Upon first look the General Sutter Inn fits right in. The upgraded tavern is quite busy, the menu is the same at the Inn and Tavern with some tasty items listed at reasonable prices. The down side is we found not clean restrooms, poorly executed food i.e. cold tasteless soup, a turkey avocado sandwich with 3 brown 1/8 inch half strips of avocado served with broken bits of stale potato chips Servers too casually dressed in street clothing wearing shorts and tennis shoes. The great outdoor seating for some reason on a bright, cool September day was closed. It does seem they are trying to do well by their patrons, the greeter and waitress were pleasant but for us on this visit the experience at the General's Inn was definitely not good.
