hi! i'm new to the recipe board and was wondering if someone has a good general fruit reduction recipe.
specifically, i'm looking to settle the age old debate of whether to use alcohol and sugar or not.
i juiced a pomegranate, i have both dried and fresh cherries and bottled yuzu juice.
i was thinking i would cook down the cherries in the pomegranate juice and leave out the yuzu, but didn't know what kind of liquor i should use if any and what the ratio of liquid to sugar there should be.
