Gazebo -- Napili Bay, Maui. What happen to the original macadamia nut pancake topping?

Does anyone know whether the original macadamia nut pancakes once sold at the Gazebo (In Napili Bay, West Maui) still exist? The macadamia nut pancakes currently sold at the Gazebo are, well — not as good as the original. I think the original owner (Kimo?) was the creator of the topping that made those original pancakes so good. He had tourist bringing empty glass jars to fill on their last day on Maui just so they could look forward to one last taste of Maui once they returned home. Ever since the current owner put their hands in the kitchen the original topping of the macadamia nut pancakes has been missing (Don’t you hate it when someone tries to fix something that is not broken?). The topping looked like a yellow / gold cake batter and as I recall it might have even tasted like a cake batter but with butter and shaved macadamia nuts on top. Can it be found someplace?
