Some of you know the Gaucho folks from their booth in St. Lawrence Market North on Saturdays. Well, they've bought Il Centro del Formaggio on College Street. They just opened a week ago. I don't know what they're going to call it - the old name is still on the storefront, but the sidewalk placard says Gaucho. The selection is kinda what you'd expect, lots of good-looking cheeses and meats. I hope they do well.
I picked up an assortment of sausages to throw on the grill this weekend - Italian, Macedonian, chorizos - I'll report back when the smoke has cleared.
