Had dinner there last nite for the first time. I was a little suprised as I walked in b/c every time I drove by it looked like it was an outside patio, but it's just b/c of the sky light in the center of the restaurant. We were sat on the outer rim, which I thought was better as I saw many leaves from the plants in the center fall on people while they were eating. It was, nonetheless, a very beautiful interior.
As for the food, we started w/ the guacamole, which they made table-side. Was very interesting to watch, and it was very good, could have been spicier. As fo for the chips and bread that came with it, the wonton chips were the best. We also asked for a side of salsa, which was perhaps the best salsa all three of us at dinner had ever tasted.
As for entrees, I ordered the Stevie T's chicken which came grilled and on top of sauteed spinach and rice and came w/ what the menu described as "low-low fat salsa." It was a light entree, very healthy tasting but VERY good. I felt full and satisifed w/out feeling heavy and greased up. My boyfriend had the blue cheese burger which he enjoyed except he said that it was a little too heavy, and would order what I had the next time we come back. Our friend ordered the filet, thought it was overcooked, and the sauce was very strange. He said he woudl not order that again.
For dessert, we ordered the berries, which was very fresh, and the Italian rice pudding, which was GREAT. I loved the sauce in the rice pudding, which was made w/ apple cider. The rice pudding was a very interesting desert, and I'm glad I tried it.
For the 3 of us, the total came to $114, pre-tip. We thoguht it was a little over-priced for what we got, but service was very good and we will come again (though not often) as we live just around the corner.
