I've always had good food at Mildred's, but got a little bad service the other night. I'm about the easiest going restaurant customer there is, but the server brought me something I didn't order. I ordered salmon and asked about the basmati rice it's served with, then agreed to have it. He asked how I wanted it cooked, so I said medium well. He brought me Tuna on a bed of vegetables, which I had not ordered. I kept it, didn't send it back or anything, but told him about the error. He insisted that I'd ordered tuna, not salmon. I pointed out my discussion with him about the rice even, but he would not yield.
I have no problem with a mistake, but his rudeness and refusal to admit the error was unacceptable. The real problem, even if he confused the fish, was not knowing his menu. The rice question should have been his clue. Anyway, just wanted to share it.
The tuna was good, but I would never have ordered tuna anyway other than rare, had I wanted tuna.
