so I just got back this past Sunday from a 10 day trip to Brazil. I was out there visiting family in Sao Paulo (my mother's side moved from Japan to Brazil following the war)
Anyway, it was my 5th or 6th trip to Brazil and I've seen the popularity of Brazilian food grow here. My favorite place is Cafe Brasil in Venice. What I haven't been able to find is what they call "por kilo", which is basically getting your food buffet style and then you pay for your food by the weight. I love this because you can choose what you want and pay for it. I find churrascaria to be too much food and too expensive.
There is one place at the Farmer's market that does this "por kilo" sytle, but is there anywhere else in L.A./O.C. or San Diego that offers this?
