We have been going to Gaby's for years now. For the longest time we would get the Vegetarian's Choice (dip combo) plate and an order of Fool Mudammas (Fava Beans). We were happy with that. One day I decided to try the Rotisserie Chicken and that was also really excellent. Today (at 1:20), I was told that the chicken would not be ready for half an hour. Throwing caution to the wind, we ordered the Fool and also the Lamb Shank. It was really great. It is cooked in an almost Italian style with tomato, basil, onion and pine nuts. Served with rice it was just wonderful. This is also a place that is never busy at weekend lunch. They have a few desserts that I have never heard of. Chabiyat, Manoura, and Ashta w/ Bananna. Does anyone have any idea what these are?
