Fun and inexpensive dinner/event for ~100?

Hi all,

I'm looking to host an event for ~100 people next July as a rehearsal dinner. Cambridge could be ideal as a location, but open to locations in Boston or Western suburbs (Lexington, Concord, Lincoln, Waltham). We're trying to keep costs down (<$50 per person). Would love to have great food - casual / creative is fine (e.g. bbq, brick oven pizza).

To this end, does anyone have suggestions about:

1. Locations that could accomodate ~100 people and would be inexpensive/free to rent out - outdoor or in a park is great as long as there is some sort of shelter in case of inclement weather. I've seen that you can rent some of the boathouses along the charles, which is the kind of thing that would be great - but even that is stretching our budget.

2. Restaurants that might be able to host an inexpensive event of this size - could be dinner or cocktail event with appetizers

Creative ideas (e.g. renting out a very casual restaurant, taco truck, etc.) are very welcome!

Thanks so much, chow-ers! I've searched the Boards and been digging everywhere, so would love to hear your ideas!
