I just bought over half a bushel of citrus at Robert is Here in Florida City yesterday and I'm flying back to the frigid midwest this afternoon. I woke up this morning in a panic that I wouldn't be able to bring the fruit as carry- on and I really don't have room in my checked baggage for that much fruit.
The TSA website mentions up to 3 oz of fruit jelly is ok for carry on, but nothing about fresh fruit. I would be so upset if I couldn't bring all this great fruit back. Can anyone confirm that much fresh fruit is ok for domestic carry-on?
