Just got back from an awesome chowhound weekend in NYC.
Just to share a quick highlight, my wife and I stumbled on a dumpling place as we left Wo Hop with a belly full of well-done duck chow fon.
I think the place is just called "Fried Dumpling". The only thing they sell is fried dumplings and fried pork buns. They were amazing. The cost is $1 for five dumplings and $1 for five buns. The place is located in an alley called Mosco betw, Mott and Mulberry at the very south end.
BTW, the duck chow fon was $4.10. Not a bad lunch of $6 bucks? Who said NYC is expensive. Oh, thats right parking at the hotel was $40 per night and the beer in the lobby bar was $8.
