Over the top.
Matt's unusual miso soup--a cut above.
First course was a large plate, containing half a soft shelled crab as only Matt Ito can do it, perched upon a lemon slice. Also on the plate was an ample bowl of incredible marinated fiddlehead ferns with unsually tasty wild mushrooms accompanied by a delicate dipping sauce.
Two rounds of pristine sushi.
A tiny morsel of octapus--different from all other sushi treats.
River eel sushi--another first for us.
I may have left something out, but we left blissed out. And, the tab was a low $24 for an incredible meal.
Try to get to Fuji while fiddleheads are still available--it's a very short season.
